Perusing the council elected by Abbotsford voters, \u2018only in Abbotsford\u2019 came to mind.<\/p>\n

When you consider how highly critical Abbotsford First was of the actions and behaviours of prior councils [criticism prior councils had earned], where else but Abbotsford would you get results that spit council 4 \u2013 4; 4 incumbents re-elected and 4 Abbotsford First candidates elected?<\/p>\n

A council with such a perfectly split personality is just so Abbotsford.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What that perfectly split council says about Abbotsford; about the past, present and future of Abbotsford…………<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Shaking my head in bafflement at this latest achievement by the voters of Abbotsford shook loose the following, which seems a most appropriate summation.<\/p>\n

In the Beginning was The Plan<\/p>\n

And then came the Assumptions<\/p>\n

And the Assumptions were without form<\/p>\n

and the Plan was completely without substance<\/p>\n

and the darkness was upon the face of the workers<\/p>\n

and they spoke among themselves saying,<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a crock of shit, and it stinketh to high heaven.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the workers went unto their Supervisors and sayeth<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a pail of dung and none may abide the odour thereof.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the Supervisors went onto their Managers can sayeth onto them,<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a container of excrement and it is very strong, such that none may abide by it.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the Managers went unto their Directors and sayeth,<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a vessel of fertilizer, and none may abide its strength.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the Directors spoke amongst themselves, saying one to another,<\/p>\n

\u201cIt contains that which aids plant growth, and it is very strong.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the directors went on to the Vice Presidents and sayeth unto them,<\/p>\n

\u201cIt promotes growth and is very powerful.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the Vice Presidents went unto the President and sayeth unto him,<\/p>\n

\u201cThis new plan will actively promote the growth and efficiency of this<\/p>\n

Company and these Areas in particular.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the President looked upon The Plan.<\/p>\n

And saw that it was good, and the Plan became Company Policy.<\/p>\n
